If you like to have a beer every now and then, leave your cash at home if you are going to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your handbag, your billfold, and keep all money, plastic credit and checks back at the hotel. Pack whatever cash you intend to spend on beverages, tipping and only the pocket change you expect to lose and keep the remainder behind.
Contemptuous? Not at all. Just realistic. You may well have a win following a drunken evening out with your compatriots and be blessed enough to catch a 25 minute toss at a smokin craps game. Keep that story considering that it is as short-lived as it gets if you continually consume alcohol and bet. The pair just don’t mix.
Leaving your money at home might be a little excessive, but defensive actions for excessive actions is required. If you bet to succeed, then do not drink alcohol and gamble. If you like to be wasteful with your $$$$ without a concern, then drink all the free booze you can handle, but do not carry credit cards and chequebooks to throw into the mix of going after squanderings after your bombed brain squanders all the cash!
Allow me to take this a single step further. Don’t drink and then head on to the internet to wager in your preferred internet casino either. I love to drink from the comfort of my condominium, however since I am linked up through Neteller, Firepay and have charge cards in close proximity, I can not drink alcohol and gamble.
What’s the reason? Despite the fact that I do not drink alcohol to excess, once I consume alcohol, it is definitely enough to blur my common sense. I bet, so I don’t drink alcohol when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, don’t gamble when you do. The two mix up for a decimating, and crazy, cocktail.
